Got back from Africa after my 9120 km bike trip there and noticed that it was almost the same distance by plane I had to take from Cape Town to Munich but only takes 11 hours by plane. We flew during the day and it was great cause going over Namibia the sheer beauty of the desert colours was spectacular and then over the Sahara Desert over Mali and Algeria was quite a treat for me.
Have four days at home before leaving for Peru and unpacked my suitcase and packed my backpack for Peru where Brandon will join me for the race.
It will be a lot easier to follow the race than last year where I had to hitch hike and catch buses and cross two borders because this year it's only in Peru and we have a rental car for the duration of the race.
