Dakr Day seven. San Marcona Area.

We left early so we could find a nice spot and were lucky cause they delayed the start because of the fog because the helicopters can't fly.
The bikers arrived early and we were able to chat to the few we know and get some good photos. We then hiked to the riverbed which is like a small canyon in which the race and a great spot to view them cause you look down on them. The wind picked up after a while and it was unbelievable the clouds of dust and no visibility so after hours in that we hiked out and then someone will always pick you up and give you a ride back. We then drove to the finish line and watched from the hillside where we could see them for ages but the wind was howling but at least there was hardly any dust. After having enough of these miserable conditions we went to another corner section and watched for awhile and having a lot of people wanting their photos then with us.
We caught a lucky break when the truck went off the road right where we were standing and jut missed a girl by inches as she tried to jump out of the way, will try post the video Brandon took of it. We got a ride out to where our car was parked  and then went into the bivvie to the a look around.
After a couple of hours we departed back to Nasca to the same place s the night before.

Every night is late to bed and early to rise so is really hard to keep up with anything, let alone the blog and proof reading it !
